Want to make a positive difference in your community?

We are looking for local people to join our trustee board, including a new Treasurer!

We are a local charity that helps to create vibrant, multicultural and self-sustaining communities. We’ve been around for over 20 years and we are one of the largest, most dynamic charities in Calderdale. Our roots are in Park ward, to the west of Halifax town centre and we provide services across Calderdale.

We run lots of different activities including employment support, apprenticeships, ESOL, a community garden and various community projects.

Whether you’re an experienced trustee or wanting to take your first step at board level, we want to hear from you. We are particularly looking for people with one or more of the following skills and experience:

  • Living or working in Park or Warley wards
  • Running large multi-occupancy buildings or sites
  • Running a social enterprise and/or dealing with social finance
  • High level finance and/or accountancy skills

We want to increase the diversity of our board to reflect our community and particularly welcome ethnic minority, women and disabled applicants.
