We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Receptionist / Administrator to join our team and support our daily operations.

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to start their career in office administration and reception. As an Apprentice Receptionist / Administrator, you will gain hands-on experience and receive training in a variety of administrative tasks and customer- facing duties. This apprenticeship will help you develop essential skills that are highly valued in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate person or department.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls to the relevant person, and take accurate messages where necessary.
  • Manage and maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and room
  • Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, photocopying, and data
  • Assist with managing incoming and outgoing mail and
  • Support with maintaining office supplies and equipment
  • Assist with preparing reports, documents, and correspondence as
  • Handle basic enquiries from clients, customers, and
  • Support the wider team with administrative projects and tasks as
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure all data is handled in line with company policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A keen interest in developing administrative and customer service
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and
  • Excellent organizational and time-management
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a
  • A friendly and professional attitude when interacting with clients and
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A willingness to learn and develop new
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Apprenticeship Requirements:

  • This is an apprenticeship position, and you must be eligible for government funding for apprenticeships.
  • Ideally, candidates should be between 16 and 24 years old, though we welcome applications from individuals of all ages.
