We opened Jubilee Children’s Centre in 2005 as part of the Sure Start programme. It was built to deliver top quality childcare and support the community in modern premises, which it continues to do to this day.
Through Sure Start, we helped 241 families with maternity care and 420 families were involved overall throughout 2005.
By the end of our third year as a Trust, we had become established as a training provider, specialising in partnership working to support people with employment – which was one the Trust’s key priorities at the time.
In 2005, we supported 188 individuals into jobs and helped 460 people with careers advice and guidance. The Trust continues to focus on employment, as one of its six key delivery areas.
